Our Lesson Program
PLEASE NOTE: LESSON CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE 6 HOURS PRIOR TO LESSON OR PAYMENT WILL BE EXPECTED.
Introductory Lesson: Price $35.00.
This is a half hour lesson to evaluate a new student's skill level and match to an appropriate horse/pony. During this lesson our instructor will begin on a lunge line if the student is a beginner, in order to teach balancing exercises and give the new student confidence. For more advanced students this lesson will provide us with a starting point and give us an opportunity to assess goals.
Private Lessons: Price $55.00 per hour.
Private lessons are ideal for students that would like extra attention for problems or coaching for upcoming competition.
Group Lessons: Price $35.00 per or $180.00 for a series of 6.
The series of 6 lessons need to be taken within 7 weeks.
These lessons typically have between 3 and 6 riders and are grouped acording to ability. Students may sign up for a series of 6 or pay as you go. Each lesson is 1 1/2 hour long and includes grooming, saddling, handling and the ever important safety. We believe the total horse person should learn all aspects of horsemanship.
Philosophy:
Our program is based on the Centered Riding techniques and we believe in teaching basics to provide a well balanced confident rider. Students ride the same horse in their lessons until they are ready to advance. Our program has been successful because of our attention to rider and horse.
